“One Giant Try It” is a day for adults, teenagers, and kids to try out all sorts of hands-on, art-making activities, tour the studios, and choose new favorite experiences at The Arts Center of The Capital Region in the upcoming creative session.

On April 7 from noon to 3 PM, visitors of all ages will have the opportunity to engage with our teaching artists, learn new skills, share ideas, and explore their creativity.
Throughout the day, attendees will participate in a variety of hands-on art-making experiences in each of our 13 studios.
Explore our large-scale pottery studio to learn the basics of wheel throwing, surface design, and hand building techniques. Get crafty in our woodworking studio and discover how to make functional hand-made projects for the home. Learn the fundamentals of jewelry design and much more! For our young artists, join in on a variety of kid-friendly mixed-media art activities during our summer camp preview!
Instructors and staff will be available to talk about the Arts Center’s classes for adults and summer camps for children and teens.
All attendees will receive a 10% discount on all adult summer classes and kids camps when you register at the event. PLUS, there will be chances to win a free camp, class, membership, and more!
