Underglaze can be used to create an endless variety of effects on your clay surface – in unfired and bisque (fired) states. It can be applied in layers to create an opaque background on which you can draw with glaze pencils. It can be used in thin layers to create a watercolor effect or sponged on to create textures. We will use a wide variety of brushes and draw inspiration from nature’s patterns. Finished tiles will be bisque-fired and clear glazed. You will be notified when they are ready to be picked up.
