Arts Thrive & Grow

“Arts Thrive & Grow” was a dynamic program that supports artists, non-profits, and art-based organizations in the capital region. Applications opened in March 2024, and closed in April. All projects will be completed by December 2024.

By investing in these creative endeavors, we not only foster artistic innovation but also drive economic development, ensuring that the arts continue to flourish, thrive, and contribute to the sustainable growth of our creative economy in the capital region.

All grants were awarded by using a panel of your peers in an objective scoring process. Arts Thrive and Grow was funded by New York State, Kathy Hochul, Governor.

We thank Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart Cousins for her extraordinary commitment and leadership, and our elected officials who represent our grantmaking region: Senators Jake Ashby and Neil D. Breslin; Assemblymembers Scott H. Bendett, Patricia Fahy, John T. McDonald III, Angelo Santabarbara, Phil Steck, and Mary Beth Walsh. The categories were as follows:
