We are proud to offer financial aid through our generous scholarship program and you are invited to apply! To keep camps affordable to all, full and partial scholarships are made easily accessible to families throughout the region. The Arts Center staff is happy to assist families in whatever way we can and, while the funding is needs-based, you may be surprised by our requirements. For instance, did you know that a family of four with a household income of roughly $50,000 is eligible to receive a scholarship of 75% of the cost covered for any of our camp programs? No matter your situation, we’re here to help! In addition to full and partial scholarships, we also offer “roll call”  enrollment-based scholarships a week before camp. Please see our funding guidelines below for more information.

Selection-Based Scholarship Guidelines

The application deadline for 2024 Summer Camps is Friday, May 31st, 2024.
Applicants will be notified on Wednesday, June 12th, 2024.

• Funding is limited to one scholarship per child per year. 
• Household income of less than $15,000 to $30,000: 100% of cost scholarship
• Household income of above $30,000 to $50,000:  75% of cost scholarship
• Household income of  above $50,000 to $70,000: 50% of cost scholarship
• Household income of  above $70,000 to $90,000: 25% of cost scholarship

Enrollment Based Scholarships

• Further eligibility for specific camps is based on enrollment and will be announced a week prior to the start of the camp 
• Eligible seats will be offered at a 50% discount to families who did not receive scholarship funding initially.
• These discounted spots will be allocated through a lottery system.
• Families chosen will be notified via email one week before the camp starts.
• Families must respond to the email within 24 hours to confirm their attendance.
• If a family doesn’t respond within the given time, they forfeit their spot, and another family will have the opportunity to receive an enrollment-based scholarship.

HOW DO I APPLY?

It’s easy; families who are interested in applying can apply through our online scholarship application form located below. Each family will answer a brief set of questions and select their camps of choice.

How do I apply if I don’t have regular access to a computer or internet?

No internet, no problem. You can apply directly over the phone and the Arts Center staff can fill out the application for you. Interested families will be asked the scholarship questions below via phone and process your scholarship if you qualify and funds are available.
