Theresa McTague

Theresa McTague received her MA in Art Education from Adelphi University in Spring 2023. She received her MFA from UAlbany in 2017, and her BFA from Purchase College School of Art + Design in 2013. She has been teaching on and off for over ten years and started teaching full-time at the K-12 level in spring of 2022. Though mostly doing drawings and paintings in her own studio practice currently, she has a lot of experience in sculptural medium like large-scale collage and fabric assemblage, plaster, clay, and bronze-casting. She loves working in gouache, watercolor, colored pencils, and pencil. Most of her current work is narrative in nature and sharing stories and humor through depictions of everyday life.
