CALL FOR ART: THE FENCE SHOW

CALL FOR ART: THE FENCE SHOW

The Fence Show is an annual celebration that pays homage to a time when members’ artwork was exhibited on the iron fence surrounding Washington Park in Troy, the original location of the Arts Center. In our present location on River Street, member artwork is displayed salon style (floor-to-ceiling) in our galleries.  All levels of skill and ability are represented, from novice to professional with an array of mediums including but not limited to paintings, drawings, photography, fiber arts, stained glass, and sculpture. We invite you to be part of the tradition in 2024.

Location: The Jane Altes Gallery
Dates:
June 13-July 26, 2024
Opening Reception: June 28, 2024, during Troy Night Out

JUROR
This year, we’re excited to introduce our distinguished juror, Tony Iadicicco, who will select 50 works for
the Fence Artist Selection. Rather than a separate exhibition, this year’s Selected artists will be singled
out during the run of the exhibition. As in previous years, we will give three awards: Best in Show, and
two Runners Up. The artist winning Best in Show will also have a solo exhibition at the Arts Center in
2025. Come and celebrate the rich tapestry of artistic diversity and excellence with us at the Fence Show
2024
