At The Arts Center of the Capital Region, from our mission to our values to our programs, we are guided by the principle that art belongs to everyone.
Though we do charge tuition for our classes, those funds only cover a quarter of our operating costs. Everything else we do depends on the generosity of our friends and neighbors.
The Arts Center is a creative and responsive organization with deep roots in the community and an expansive vision of how the arts can flourish in our region. We actively nurture exciting collaborations and help to foster a supportive, inclusive, and livable community. We encourage and support growth in our artists while transforming our community’s cultural understanding and access to expression.
At the Arts Center, we create opportunities for learning, connection, cultural appreciation, and creative expression for people of all ages, and from all walks of life. We couldn’t do any of this important work without the support of our community.
